The fee for renewing from November 1 to November 30 is $550. Last year, only 6% of LPNs renewed for the higher fee.

Note that Alberta LPNs are required to obtain and pay for professional liability insurance that meets the minimum requirements established by CLPNA Bylaws.

Pre-Authorized Debit Plans

The Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) plan is a CLPNA pre-payment option that allows registrants to pay the following year’s registration fee in advance using automatic withdrawal from their bank account on a monthly basis. Note that PAD plan sign up is closed during registration renewal.
