Modules Support Nursing Competence
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Alberta can access more than 30 free learning modules through their MyCLPNA accounts.
These modules, hosted on our Learning Management System (LMS), help build LPN competencies and are suitable for meeting the requirements of the Continuing Competence Program.
Featured Modules
Protecting Patients from Sexual Abuse and Sexual Misconduct
LPNs must complete this module by November 30, 2025.
To protect public safety, Alberta’s legislation provides clear definitions of behaviours that constitute sexual misconduct or sexual abuse. The Protecting Patients from Sexual Abuse and Sexual Misconduct module provides LPNs with an understanding of this legislation and related standards and guidelines.
This module is self-directed, and it takes most individuals less than two hours to complete.
